We know when they gather for hunt
After witches, trees and wild beasts
Then we gather too and we don’t hesitate
Wake those with teeth, fur and claws
Forest awakes
Witches crave for
More flesh and blood
We will always
Remember
Every sound of slaughter
We take babies from their mothers’ breasts
Easy to find them – they smell sour cheese and milk
We carry them to where conifers smell sweet
Beasts finish off with the rest of folks
Strong bear claws crush the skulls
Headless bodies fall on cold ground
Sharp wolf teeth don’t get tired
With human neighbors each forest becomes evil…
